NON-CLINICAL OPERATIONS

Recognizing the significant profitability challenges hospitals are facing today…

Healthcare Optimization Services is a performance base fee model that begins with the Value Assessment of either specific Triage Track or full Facilities and Non-Clinical Operations (FANCO) Gap Assessment. As the client, you make decisions on pace and priority. The Program Management Team will facilitate the discreet projects business case development, justification, implementation and savings verification. Additionally, we will develop the infrastructure and capabilities to manage the changes into the future.

VALUE ASSESSMENTS define the current cost and service level requirements of the enterprise along with the savings potential based on the constraints.

We design action plans that reduce Non-Clinical Operations service lines. Portfolio & Site Operations Profiling is a combination of desk & on-site audits and analysis to ensure that the data accurately accounts for all cost. Departmental Service Delivery Process Maps define current systems, capabilities and processes along with the service level requirements for the targeted Service functions within these 3 categories:

We understand that the cheapest solution is not always the best solution. Our hospitality service providers will analyze the existing non-clinical situations, quality of service desired and cost-optimization performance. This will result in a balanced strategy comprised of individual projects that will create the ideal scenario for each hospital.

business support services

Our optimization & sustainability practice was founded to assist companies in their efforts to measure and manage utilities, assets and facility related spending. As we developed that practice, we recognized that clients needed engineering support to realize their strategic goals. Since then, GlideNet has incorporated an implementation component to all our practices. We focus on program execution incorporating dashboard management, business case justification and program specific tool sets.

Program Management

Scalable Execution Support that Leverages Best Practice.

Often times, clients are in need of scalable execution support that leverages best practices to improve service levels and the overall cost performance. We believe these Technical Operations (TechOps) service categories are a key feature in our offering set and demonstrate our commitment to our clients’ success.

medical equipment management

Today’s Healthcare support organizations are often overwhelmed with many priorities, leaving little to no time to focus on the optimal method for managing medical equipment.

Enjoy the best design and functions combined together.

The processes and systems supporting large medical equipment fleets are often disconnected. These include the traditional Bio-Med offering and the worlds of sterile processing, patient bed management, surgical instrument repair, and equipment location and distribution.

Bio-Med teams are often viewed as nothing more than another fix-it shop in the basement, with the department’s significant daily impact on the clinical environment underestimated. This situation tends to inflate external vendor service costs as teams are rarely provided the necessary resources to administer a more comprehensive program.

Merger activity also generally results in a large volume of waste, with duplicated services sprinkled throughout multiple facilities. Clinical technology service and systems support costs are rarely clear to healthcare leaders. Program quality and true total spend in these areas are often murky and fragmented.

GlideNet brings a fully integrated approach  to the clinical asset systems in your organization.

Triage Analysis & The “TRACKS”

HEALTH SYSTEMS ARE AGGRESSIVELY PURSUING FINANCIAL IMPROVEMENTS TO ENHANCE VIABILITY, CAPITAL ACCESS AND TO ACHIEVE CORPORATE GOALS. THE NON-CLINICAL TECHNICAL ASPECTS OF THEIR OPERATION ARE TYPICALLY UNDER-CHALLENGED DUE TO LACK OF INTERNAL EXPERTISE AND BANDWIDTH OF EXISTING MANAGEMENT.

The Triage Analysis quickly identifies easily realized areas of cost savings by using readily available client and vendor information. These targeted cost savings opportunities require little or no capital and minimal resources. The Triage will utilize 1-2 days of the clients’ accounting administrative person to collect these documents and 4-weeks of the Analysis Team to produce an Executive Management Cost Optimization Action Plan. This Action Plan will likely span the 10 specified tracks.
